- The first-ever Raritan Valley Open was held September 24, 2005 at the Millpond Tennis and Swim Club, Marlboro NJ. The doubles final pitted Chris Lehman and Jennifer Davis against Doug Brown and Michele Randell, with Brown and Randell earning the victory 6-1, 6-1 in a contest that was closer than the score indicated. In the men's singles final, it was Lehman winning over Brown with a score of 6-1, 6-2.
